Since its establishment in 1960, the Association has the mission to nurture human capital through management education and training at all levels for developing talents for Hong Kong. As such, the Association has developed the Talent Development Fund for executives in financial needs to fulfil their aspiration in pursuing knowledge and upgrading qualifications.

To recognize the outstanding services of the late Mrs Susan Yuen to industry and commerce in Hong Kong, members of The Hong Kong Management Association and the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, on the occasion of her retirement as Chief Executive of the two organizations, established the Susan Yuen Fellowship and Research Foundation.
